Contemporary Wedding Cakes

Duet a two tier hexagonal cake stacked offset.  Iced in white and decorated with white brush embroidery.  Finished with a bride and groom statuette. Filigree, a four tier white square cake stacked to the back and displayed on the angle, two tiers are piped to add interest.    The black and white colour scheme resulted in a striking cake finished with four white sugar gerberas with black centres and black Swarovski crystals linking the tiers.Strathspey, a four tier stacked cake.  Iced in ivory decorated with sprays of ivory roses and freesia's and holly green leaves.  A cute bride and groom sit on the top tier with a small topper of hearts and Swarovski crystals behind.  Small piped scrolls dotted over the cake give extra interest.Merengue, a three tier ivory iced cake with teal separators.  Decorated with hot pink gerberas and Swarovski crystals.Papillon, a three tier square cake arranged offset.  Decorated with handmade sugar cala lilies and wired pearls.  Butterflies cover the second tier to give an interesting texture, flying butterflies are also delicately placed on the cake.

Sonata, a four tier offset round cake displayed on a handmade oak stand.  The decoration was a trail of wired burgundy sugar roses and ivy leaves cascading from the top to the bottom in a reverse curl.  Simple but very effective.
